Mayors Armed Forces Commission

We act as a liaison group to promote goodwill and understanding between the City of Westlake and the Armed Forces, both active and reserve.

We aim to promote all veterans affairs between veterans groups any outside interest who may wish to put together any ceremony or other activities.

Treasurer

Melissa Judkins

Retired active duty Army as a Command Sergeant Major with over 22 years of service. Deployed in service of IFOR/SFOR (Bosnia), OIF (Iraq) and OEF (Afghanistan).

Secretary

Richard D. Morgan

Marine Vietnam veteran. Service time from 1966-1970. Has been honored as KPLC Hometown Hero for his work in the community.

Chaplain

Quinsuella Jones

Served for over 25 years, achieved the rank of E7 and deployed in service to Desert Shield and Storm.

President

Waymond Jones

US Army Veteran and retired Troop D State Police Commander.

Vice President

Matthew Richard

12 years of service in the Louisiana Army National Guard. Deployed in service to Operation Iraqi Freedom and Hurricane Duty through out the state.
